Ho, hum..

My big news: I walked the long way to and from the grocery store today. Wow! How exciting!

Manglerud lost tonight. They played the #1 team in the league (Sparta) and the score was 7 - 1. Trav had an assist on the one and only MS goal.

On to bigger and better things: the sun. The days are getting longer and we are finally noticing! The "length of the day" today was 7 hours and 59 minutes. That is 4 minutes and 54 seconds longer than yesterday. And you know what? It is just going to keep getting better!

We went skiing yesterday and Kevin joined us. It was his first time skiing, and he was cruising along the trail behind me. He borrowed the skis and they hadn't been waxed (but were supposed to be) so there was nothing on the bottom of his skis to slow him down. Because of that, I was going nearly full speed most of the way so I wasn't in his way. I also didn't want to let the kid who just tried out skiing for the first time to show me up! Hopefully I will be a little less sore when Trav and I head out tomorrow!
